How can we move towards a reduction of gambling harm in our community?

'The Panel' is an open invitation to community members, support services and elected members and promises to an afternoon of engaging discussions, during which attendees will gain insights from three distinguished experts, each offering a unique perspective on what gambling is really costing the communities of Mid and Northern NSW on a daily basis. 
Our panelists include Vince Jensen, a Senior Counsellor at GambleAware Mid and Northern NSW, Ashley Gordon, the Manager of NSW Aboriginal Safe Gambling Services, and Aunty Carol, an esteemed Aboriginal Health Worker based at Coffs Harbour Health Campus.

GambleAware South Western Sydney will be working with the Fairfield City Health Alliance Gambling Working Group to engage the community with an interactive stall in the heart of Cabramatta, Freedom Plaza. This event is open to the public and will give members of the community an opportunity to receive information while having a coffee and a chat with GambleAware staff about gambling harm and support.

Service Providers will set up information stands relating to mental health, AOD, family and youth support, personal well being, financial hardship and general health. The information being provided is related to barriers that can extend from people experiencing Gambling risks. The event has a live band to entertain community and a free BBQ lunch. Service Providers have opportunity to hold an activity on the day.
