Workshops for parents

Understanding the challenges of today’s digital landscape, including the risks of online gambling, is vital for parents and guardians. As professionals working with young people, your support can be instrumental in fostering greater awareness of gambling harm and spreading the essential knowledge parents need to safeguard their children.

The GambleAware workshops for parents are designed to:

Highlight the intersection between gaming and gambling, delving into their appeal and risks to youth.
Decode the influence of gambling advertising, helping parents recognise the subtle tactics targeting young audiences.
Equip parents with knowledge about gambling risks, enabling them to make informed decisions and have meaningful conversations with their children.

By recommending or running these sessions, you will be offering parents, caregivers and guardians a roadmap to understanding and addressing the potential risks of gambling within our modern society.

Available workshop materials

1. Session Plan
2. Facilitator guide
3. Presentation template

Help us make sure these resources are not just available but actively used for the wellbeing of our youth.
