GambleAware Week 2026

Monday 19 – Sunday 25 October

GambleAware Week 2026 is coming. Start planning how you can help raise awareness about gambling harm across NSW.

Join community organisations and venues across the state in sharing important information and starting conversations about gambling.

What is GambleAware Week?

GambleAware Week is an annual campaign that helps people understand the risks of gambling and the impact gambling harm can have on individuals, families and communities.

Led by the Office of Responsible Gambling, the campaign brings together community organisations, local venues and gambling operators to raise awareness and promote the support services available through GambleAware.

By getting involved, you can help people recognise the signs of gambling harm and connect them with the support they need.

How the week is promoted

Across NSW, community organisations and local venues host events and share campaign resources.

To help make promotion easy, we’re creating ready-to-use campaign materials, including:

  • Posters and digital screen content
  • Social media videos and tiles
  • Website newsletter banners

These resources will be available to download from this page in September.

We’ll also have an online event register so people can find GambleAware Week activities in their area. Information about how to list your event will be shared in August.

We need your support

Your support helps GambleAware Week reach communities across NSW.

There are many simple ways you can get involved:

  • Display campaign posters or digital screens in your workplace or venue
  • Share GambleAware Week messages and videos on social media
  • Include campaign banners or newsletter headers in your communications
  • Host an event or activity for your staff, clients or community

Even small actions can help raise awareness and encourage people to seek support.

What other support is available

Each GambleAware region has a dedicated community engagement team who can support local organisations and community groups during GambleAware Week.

They can help by:

  • sharing ideas for activities and events
  • providing advice and guidance
  • partnering with you to deliver a local initiative.

Contact your local GambleAware service to explore how you can work together.
